This enhanced section provides a tremendous assortment of resources, empowering kidney patients to get involved with Congress and make their voices heard. Patients are encouraged to proactively engage in public policy since, after all, their very lives depend on national healthcare programs like Medicare. Tools allowing readers to locate their members of Congress, links to a variety of government agencies, sample letters to Congress and an orientation explaining the why and how of public policy and advocacy can be found on the Web site.
