Be prepared to learn the most current information about kidney disease, treatment options and key tips to living with the effects of kidney disease. Not only are attendees thoroughly educated during the Convention, they also have the opportunity to meet and interact with individuals who have similar experiences and deal with the same issues that go along with kidney disease.
This year’s Convention agenda features educational sessions for kidney patients and their families. This includes chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis and transplantation. Each session is hosted by carefully selected, highly respected healthcare professionals who are well versed on the topics they present.
Some of this year's topics include:
-
I'm in it for Life - Managing and Minimizing Long Term Effects of Kidney Disease
-
Exploring My Options: Choosing or Changing Therapies
-
Straight Talk about Living Donation
-
The Emotional Rollercoaster of Chronic Illness
- Delaying Dialysis: Managing Your Reduced kidney Function
