Register for Understanding the Affects of Protein & Sodium in Renal Disease HealthLine Call

Tampa, Fla., July 28, 2009 – The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) is hosting a HealthLine conference call, Thursday, July 29. The call, Understanding the Affects of Protein and Sodium in Renal Disease, is FREE. Participants will learn how the body uses protein and sodium, the importance of limiting sodium, why kidney patients may need to monitor their protein intake and much more.

The AAKP HealthLine conference call series is designed to educate patients and their family members on a variety of topics affecting kidney patients. All calls are FREE and no phone charges apply. Participants can listen to the call in their own home or office. Conference calls feature kidney health professionals from across the country. Registered dietitians Angelo Capozzoli, president of Southeast Clinical Nutrition Centers, Inc. and Marianne Hutton, lecturer, author and nutrition consultant, will lead the conference call.

The AAKP HealthLine call takes place Thursday, July 29, 2009, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. E.T. Time is provided at the end of the program for participant questions.
