Join the AAKP Survey Panel

Tampa, Fla., October 19, 2009 – The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) invites patients, family members, health care professionals and individuals with a concern for kidney disease to join its Survey Panel. The AAKP Survey Panel’s purpose is to assist with the understanding of kidney disease and its impact on the day to day lives of individuals affected by reduced renal function.

“Our panel consists of the most reliable sources, individuals who are affected by kidney disease,” said AAKP President Roberta Wager, RN, MSN. “Panel members will be an important part in helping organizations obtain the best insights on how they can better improve therapies and products for kidney disease patients and their families.”

The AAKP Survey Panel asks a few general questions and then asks permission to contact respondents in the future regarding detailed topics, such as prescription costs, insurance benefits, treatment options, etc. Joining the AAKP Survey Panel is FREE and the information provided is stored in a secure location. AAKP does not rent, sell or trade mailing lists or personal information to third parties.

Each opportunity to participate in a survey will enable an individual to make their own contribution to wider health care provision in the kidney community. Individuals interested in joining the AAKP Survey Panel should visit the AAKP Web site, www.aakp.org/outreach/Survey-Panel. For questions regarding the AAKP Survey Panel, please call (800) 749 – 2257.
