TAMPA, Fla. October 17, 2005 -- The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) is accepting nominations for its annual award – the AAKP Medal of Excellence. This prestigious award honors a renal physician who has dedicated his or her career to improving the lives of kidney patients. The AAKP Medal of Excellence truly signifies a renal physician’s involvement, professional achievements, contributions and accomplishments within the renal community. The 11th Annual Medal of Excellence Award Dinner will be hosted by AAKP on Sunday, March 19, at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore. The event will be held in conjunction with the Renal Physicians Association's Annual Meeting.
