AAKP Requests Nominations for 2005 Medal of Excellence

TAMPA, Fla. October 18, 2004 –The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) is accepting nominations for its annual award, the Medal of Excellence. This year will mark the 10th anniversary for the AAKP Medal of Excellence.

This prestigious award honors a renal physician who has dedicated his or her career to improving the lives of kidney patients. The AAKP Medal of Excellence truly signifies a renal physician’s involvement, professional achievements, accomplishments and contributions within the renal community.

The 10th Annual Medal of Excellence Award Dinner will be hosted by AAKP on Sunday, March 20 in Washington, D.C. at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel. The event will be held in conjunction with the Renal Physicians Association's Annual Meeting. If you know a renal physician who has worked tirelessly and exudes extraordinary skills and devotion to improve the quality of life of kidney patients, please consider nominating him or her for AAKP's most prestigious award – the AAKP Medal of Excellence. AAKP encourages self-nominations.
