Tip of the Month: Control Your Portions

We've all done it - eaten to the point of being 'stuffed.' Making good food choices through out the day, week, month or year can help you from overeating. 

Here are some tips on how to make good food choices:

  • Eat regularly.
  • Choose nutritious options.
  • Avoid eating to the point of being stuffed.
  • Determine if you are hungry or emotional.
  • Don't go completely fat-free with your food.
  • Get enough, but not too much fluid.
  • Stay active.

 

Maintaining a proper diet can benefit kidney patients in many ways. Use these steps be become a healthier you!
