September is National Preparedness Month.  The week of September 13-19 has been designated as the time for education and emergency preparedness for all dialysis patients.  The Kidney Community Emergency Response (KCER) Coalition provides disaster preparedness information for dialysis patients as well as transplant patients.  Tips on making an emergency supply kit and preparing a family emergency plan are provided.  For more information visit the KCER Web site.
