The 35th Annual AAKP Convention was a success, attracting 300 attendees in Washington, D.C. The Convention featured interesting educational sessions, exciting social events and inspiring words from kidney patients of all modalities.
One of the most popular events was the Welcoming Ceremonies, which took place on Friday, Aug. 29 and featured a 70s theme. Attendees feasted on delicious kidney friendly cuisine and danced the night away to some groovy 70s music. There was also a fantastic costume contest with prizes!
