AAKP recently announced the selection of Robert Schrier, MD, as the recipient of the 2009 Medal of Excellence Award. The Medal of Excellence is a recognition program honoring a renal physician who has achieved outstanding success in caring for kidney patients and possesses extraordinary skills and devotion in the field of nephrology.
