If you know someone who is considering becoming a living organ donor (kidney, lung, liver), the National Living Donor Assistance Center (NLDAC) may be able to offer financial assistance of up to $6,000 for the living donor's (and his or her companion's) travel and lodging expenses.
 
Eligibility Requirements include:

• Donor and recipient of the organ are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted residents of the United States.
• Donor and recipient have primary residences in the United States or its territories.
• Travel is originating from the donor's primary residence.
