The Medal of Excellence is an AAKP recognition program honoring a renal physician for his or her dedication and expertise in the renal field. The award recipient and nominees are honored at the Medal of Excellence Award Dinner, held Sunday, March 16, 2008, at 7 p.m., at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. This event is held in conjunction with the Renal Physicians Association's annual meeting.
 
The Medal of Excellence Award recipient will be posted on the AAKP Web site, www.aakp.org, by Jan. 11, 2008.
