AAKP is proud to announce the winners of its AAKP Says I Can! campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about kidney disease and to show kidney disease patients of all modalities are living active, productive lives despite their kidney disease diagnosis.
The three winners selected are:

- Betsy Calloway, a 28 year-old kidney transplant recipient who earned a college degree after being diagnosed with kidney disease.
- Mary Sheppard, a peritoneal dialysis (PD) patient, a loving wife and mother who earned a college degree and became a long distance runner after her kidney disease diagnosis.
