Kidney Beginnings: Live Visits the City of Brotherly Love

This month, AAKP is partnering with the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA to host a Kidney Beginnings: Live program and health fair. This free educational event takes place May 30, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., at the Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Kidney Beginnings: Live programs educate attendees on a number of topics related to kidney disease, including:

  • What the kidney are and how they function;
  •  Managing conditions that may lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD), such as diabetes and hypertension;
  • Side effects and challenges of CKD;
  • Diet management;
  • And much more!
