Join us in Atlanta, Ga., August 8, at the St. Philip African Methodist Episcopal Church, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Kidney Beginnings: Live is a FREE program designed to teach individuals recently diagnosed or at risk for developing chronic kidney disease (CKD) about the disease and its treatment options.
Topics include:
- what the kidneys are and how to care for them;
- managing conditions that may lead to CKD, including diabetes and hypertension;
- side effects and challenges of CKD;
- diet management;
- and much more!
