AAKP is hosting two Kidney Beginnings: Live programs during the month of July. The first stop, Baltimore, Md., takes place on July 12 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The next program is held on July 26, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., in the Mile-High City, Denver, Colo.
Kidney Beginnings: Live is a free educational program that teaches individuals about the basics of kidney disease and proper kidney care. Programs feature topics including:
- What they kidneys are and how to care for them,
- Side effects and challenges CKD patients face, such as anemia,
- And diet management.
