Kidney Beginnings: Live Offers Patient Education and FREE Flu Shots

The last Kidney Beginnings: Live program of 2008 takes place Dec. 13, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at the Hillsborough County Health Department in Tampa, Fla. This program educates individuals about the basics of kidney disease and proper kidney care. Topics include: 

 

  • What the kidneys are and how to care for them;
  • Managing conditions that may lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD);
  • Side effects and challenges CKD patients face, such as anemia; 
  • Diet management;
  • And much more!

    This Kidney Beginnings: Live program is very special because following the presentation, attendees can receive a FREE flu shot. Perfect timing for flu season!
