The upcoming AAKP HealthLine call, titled The Patient Perspective - Understanding Patient/Family Centered Care, takes place April 30, from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET. This conference call is designed to educate health care professionals on the Patient/Family Centered Care model. The four components of this model are explained and discussed in detail: Collaboration, Information Sharing, Participation, and Respect & Dignity. Participants will learn from patients as they describe each component of Patient/Family Centered Care and have the opportunity to explore this concept further during the question and answer session.
