AAKP is now accepting nominations for its 2008-2009 National Board of Directors. The AAKP Board of Directors is responsible for establishing goals and policies for the association. In addition, they are responsible for attending three meetings per year, which may require travel, participation in conference calls and committee membership.
Elections are held in July with new members seated in August during the 2008 Annual AAKP Convention, held in Washington, D.C. Board members serve two year terms. The deadline to submit nominations is May 23, 2008.
