The 35th Annual AAKP Convention was a success, hosting over 300 attendees for four days of kidney disease education and sensational social events in Washington, D.C.

During the Convention, AAKP President, Bobbi Wager, RN, MSN, announced the theme and location of next year's Convention. The 2009 AAKP Convention, titled Going the Extra Mile, will be held Sept. 3 - Sept. 6, in  the Mile-High City of Denver, Colo.
