About MY Health

AAKP My Health is a unique section of the AAKP Web site dedicated to helping you take charge of your healthcare. Our goal at AAKP is to inspire patients and their family members to better understand the conditions, adjust more readily to their circumstances, and assume a more normal, productive life.

AAKP My Health allows you to monitor your lab values and gives you an idea of what they may mean for your condition, ask more informed questions from your healthcare team and increase your general knowledge of kidney disease.

It is estimated that 20 million people suffer from kidney disease and millions more are at risk of developing the disease. Early detection can prevent progression of kidney disease to kidney failure. The purpose of AAKP My Health is not to scare you, however, it is to provide you with the information you need to take control of your healthcare.
