The Medal of Excellence is an American Association of Kidney Patients' (AAKP) recognition program that honors a renal physician for his or her extraordinary skills and devotion in the renal field.

This year, AAKP was pleased to present this award to Robert W. Schrier, MD. Dr. Schrier was honored at the Medal of Excellence Award Reception held March 22, 2009 in Baltimore, MD in conjunction with the Renal Physicians Associations' Annual Meeting.
