The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) is currently seeking Board of Directors' and Officer Nominations for the 2008-2009 term.  The selected nominees will serve as Directors-at-Large and and may run for an Officer position.  Pursuant to AAKP’s by-laws, the Board of Directors elects the incoming Directors. 

We ask that this be a thoughtful process and that any recommendations made reflect considered judgment, careful assessment of the individual’s background and qualifications, and assurance the individual nominated understands the significant time commitment, obligations and serious responsibilities Board membership entails. Though the time commitment involved is not excessive, we do ask our Directors to pledge to attend three meetings per year and participate in conference calls as needed.
